As a designer, I am always seeking out opportunities to use my skills to make a positive impact on the world around me. This project, aimed at addressing the needs of the Filipino elderly community, presented a unique and significant challenge, and I was honoured to be a part of it.
My primary focus for this project was to create a comprehensive information portal that would serve as a valuable resource for members of the Filipino elderly community. With this goal in mind, I developed a simple yet effective logo design to convey the project’s spirit and capture its essence.
From there, I worked closely with the project organizers to create a user-friendly website providing easy access to critical information and resources for community members. In addition, I designed a series of banners and flyers to promote the project and increase awareness of its goals and objectives.
Throughout the design process, I remained deeply committed to the principles of inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that the information and resources presented on the site were accessible to all community members, regardless of age or ability.
In the end, I am proud to have been a part of this not-for-profit project and to have had the opportunity to use my skills as a designer to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I hope that my work will help to support the goals of the project and that it will serve as a valuable resource for members of the Filipino elderly community for years to come.
